ABOUT THOMAS PITSCH
From my early youth on, I have been passionate about film, television, and moving media. With my first camera, I shot a variety of my own short films and moving media projects. Using software such as Blender and Photoshop, I created my own logos, intros, as well as graphics and animations of all kinds. Even at that time, I was aware that I wanted to turn this hobby into a profession after completing my schooling and become a part of the film and television industry.

Upon completing my secondary school education, I attended a media vocational college where, alongside my technical college entrance qualification, I completed training as a Design Technical Assistant. This included classes in graphic design, audiovisual media, design theory, photography, web design, and art history. I also gained initial experience in a professional work environment through an internship in post-production at the German television channel WDR.
After my graduation, I started an apprenticeship as a media designer at an advertising agency, where I gained a wealth of experience, including in the field of motion design. In order to pursue my passion for moving media, I transitioned to an apprenticeship as a Digital Media Artist specializing in 3D animation and visual effects. This training included instruction in digital compositing, 3D lighting, animation, rigging, and modeling. Within this framework, I specialized in digital compositing for visual effects.

Since completing my training, I have had the opportunity to work as an employee of the renowned visual effects studio RISE FX on a variety of international film and series productions for major clients such as Marvel Studios, Disney+, Amazon Studios, Universal, and Apple TV+.
In my personal time I am continuing to work on a variety of creative projects.
